we did it. made it back in one piece. our good buddy joe bomber was getting hitched so we let out for michigan. we wouldnt miss it for the world mang!!! its quite a trek from the boot, to say the least. riding four deep in the jetta can cause people to do strange things. who doesnt love a good game of hide the high-lighter? the nuptials were a smash hit, then it was off to detroit to see kyleigh's grandfather. then to see her parents a couple hours away. sleep. then we jammed to chicago to see some friends of the mez and rachel's. pizza, downtown, kuma's corner (which was brutal), sleep. on the road again to the homestead. no worries.

looking good man. here is, not quite, but almost, the final version of chico's motorbike. the p-pad is mounted, fender is cut to length and painted, sissy bar is rolled forward to where it is supposed to be, and the wiring isn't naked anymore. its amazing how small, minute details make such a big difference between half assin' it and pure chopper glory. we at five point salute you.

...all day, everyday son!!! a few months ago i scored a pile of bends and take-off pipes from a local shop. mez couldn't stand the fact that all that tubing was just sitting in my garage. i believe he's been itching to make a 2 into 1 set for awhile now. the 2 into 1 junction, and most of the exhaust, is harley stuff. we just had to bridge the gap to the kaw flanges. too easy. but everything takes time. especially when your broseph gets something in his eye and is cyclopsed for the rest of the endeavor. and after mez kept me up until 3:30 in the early morn, i drove him home and we completed the project upon his return on the morrow. the muffler is a piece he's had laying around for a bit. he has plans to shoot them black and maybe leave the muffler chrome?? regardless, you get the point.

...victor. until now, i've been limited to bending by hand, hammer, and vise. which is very limited indeed. this process of brawny bending vibrates random things off of my bench and peg board. and while i'm paying attention to the metal in question, i cant watch my bench and peg board to see what falls. which, in turn, increases my stress level. because i now must search for said mysterious clanky piece of something. you get the point. i digress. and yes, burnout phil let me borrow his portable torch whenever i wanted. which actually, i think he was borrowing from someone else to let me borrow. but sometimes phil doesn't answer his phone. sometimes phil is in the woods. sometimes phil is spending much needed alone time with his lady. i digress further. well, those days are over baby. i'm out there jerry, and i'm loving every minute of it!!! thanks mom. you rule beyond measure.
