inspired by special '79. built this t dolly. needs to be longer though. the t dolly that is. gettin myself geared up to hack up a tank and run this down the middle. practice makes perfect.
Luke, thats rad. Make a bunch of different sizes of t-dollies, curved, short, hand-held, you'll use all of 'em. How's that HF e-wheel work out? I need a wheel and I cant even build one for what they sell for.
i think it works pretty good for my purposes. i am by no means a master metal shaper, and ron covell would probably tell you this thing sucks, but i have no basis for comparison. ive never used anything else. i got it on sale for 199. and the extra dies cost another 75 bucks for the full set. i guess it may depend on your application of it. i got it cuz i wanted to learn and didnt wanna spend a ton on something i didnt know about.
Thanks for the input. It's funny, I saw a recent photo in Cycle Headz magazine of Chabbot Engineering's shop. Shinya rocks a HF e-wheel, but he painted it a different color, sneaky.
